Interstate visitors

For your information, blue cards are issued by the Commission under the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act 2000 (‘the Commission’s Act’). They are an initiative of the Queensland Government and have no jurisdiction outside of Queensland.

Similarly, Queensland does not recognise working with children checks conducted outside of Queensland.

For more information, please see the 'Interstate visitors' page.
