Do you want to make a real difference to children in care in Queensland?
The Individual Advocacy and Resolution Program monitors the way children and young people under 18 are cared for in out-of-home accommodation, including:
The Commission regularly recruits Commission Community Visitors throughout Queensland.
You must be an excellent problem solver with an understanding and knowledge of, and commitment to, resolving child protection issues. You need strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to self manage and work productively as a team member.
Commission Community Visitors work from home and need to be flexible in their working hours. They require access to a computer and their own reliable vehicle.
For more information, please contact the Individual Advocacy and Resolution Program on 1800 008 175 (freecall within QLD - calls from mobile phones may attract changes).
Jobs will be advertised on the Government's Smartjobs website @ www.jobs.qld.gov.au
